HOARDING

OMG I think I am going to contact TLC. My child has a hoarding issue. She hoards Acorn tops. Yes Acorn Tops. What is that. She is insane. Everyday when I get here from school there are acorn tops in her cubby. And then we get home and I was her clothes and find a ton of them in the dryer. I am sure she is stuffing them in her pockets. She came home oneday to and had a ton of them stuffed in a sock. It makes no sense. Oh and she got mad the other day because someone in her class either had more than her or had a bigger one. CRAZY!!!!!

So to add to the list of Lanieisms -

You're Eyeful - Your evil
Thress Ole - Three years old

Time?

Why do we moms decide we are going to start a blog? I mean who really has time for it. What with things like FB and all. Someone said FB is only a daycare for adults. Man were they right. I cannot seem to pull myself away. And not cause I care what your status is, how you are feeling that day, or what your score is on bejewled. I only get on to look at pageant things. I am sick. I have an obsession and it is insane. But it is healthy right. I mean I could be looking stalking people that I once knew. WHO CARES about them when there is a dress or an outfit to be had.

So where are we at since the last time I updated? Who knows? Lanie is doing great in school. She is learning her letters, well learning the ones she does not know. She is learning the phonics of them as well and is also learning her numbers and colors. She is doing very good coloring but seems to have an attitude problem. Really? NO!!! Not from a 3 year old girl. She loves to back talk and tell the adults no....Oh how to handle this situation.

I think we are going to begin to pull cards. You know, like the do in Kindergarten...Yea I will let you know how that goes.

As far as the pageant world she still seems to love them. She never really wants to practice but who can blame her? I mean why would you want to get dressed up in cute clothes and parade around the house to blaring music? Does not sound very appealing to me.

She has also expressed an interest in gymnastics and softball, so we are going to hit up a gym soon and do a free class and check on t-ball for the spring. I even found her a pink and purple glove....Oh yea!!!

I am going to try and be good about writing down cute phrases and sayings she has....I want to make sure I can remember them all as she gets older. If you see any I have left off feel free to add:

ALMENS - "All of them"
TAAGGER IT - "Tag your it"
SURE TURN - "Your turn"
ROCK BAND AND GET DOWN - VERY SOUTHERN ACCENT :)

Its' not Motocross

So yesterday Lanie decided she was going to try and be a BMX rider and ride down the stairs of the deck. I actually think she was just trying to walk down the stairs with her bike but she got to the first step and she fell. Tumbled all the way down to the bottom. She scratched her arm up pretty bad and she scratched her head. I knew we were due though. We had not had a serious fall in a while. Then she went on to school where she got to be the LINE LEADER!!! WTF is that all about. I mean who allows 2 year olds to be line leaders. Tracey ( a lady mom works with) said she saw Lanie leading the crew when she dropped her son off. I asked Lanie last night whens he got home how she had to stand and she showed me her pretty feet. NO LANIE, that is not how you stand when you are the line leader at school. Only on stage. She then showed me. One finger to her lips and her other hand behind her back. SHES BIG!!!

She comes home to and sings songs that they learn at school. It makes her seem so big. I mean really...

She LOVES to read too. Anything. She likes anything from childrens books, to the Wii manual. As long as she is being read to. And she is trying to read herself. She can recognize her name and anything that looks like it. If she sees an L with a few letters behind it it is her name.

Are you kidding me?

My daughter got on the phone with her sister today and was having a conversation....a real conversation....and right smack dab in the middle of the conversation she says "Are you kidding me?" I mean really? Where in the hell does she get it. She is a nut. She is still hating school. Although we went on Friday and she did not cry. I took her in, she was whiny and clingy, I walked her to her chair and sat her down. And this time she did not flail herself down on the ground...That was a huge accomplishment. And there were no tears. WOO HOO!!!

So I am hoping we can stay that way. Maybe she won't be crying as she enters her senior year.

So I am going to really try to keep this up. I know I have slacked off.
